It is easy to assume that ”all young people are the same”. Often, companies tend just to think that people under 30 are full of themselves and unwilling to work hard. It could, of course, be true in some cases and for certain generations. However, we do see some major differences between the two generations named Millennials and Generation Z respectively. The latter, called Generation Z, consists of young people born after the Millennium. So they are today aged 17 and younger.
In our new report, called "Millennials, Generation Z & Sustainability", we have surveyed and studied both generations. What we see is that there are some significant differences between them. Here are a few:
- Both value sustainability but Millennials are more driven by their egos, and see sustainability as a way of showing off to their friends.
- Millennials like big and bold visions, whereas Generation Z likes facts and realistic goals.
- They social media habits of Millennials and Generation Z differ a lot. Both regarding channels and they way they use them.
